IPAF Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Training

IPAF's one-day pre-delivery inspection course enables trainees to perform PDIs of MEWPs in a structured and systematic way.

This course will teach you;

The need to risk assess the pre-delivery inspection area
The importance of pre-delivery inspection documentation
The role and responsibilities of a person conducting a PDI
When to pass or fail a machine under inspection
How to conduct a PDI for your selected category of MEWP(s) in a safe and logical way

Please note that the course will be in written and verbal English. A translator can attend the course to assist your operatives but they can only translate, they cannot be a candidate on the course itself. Please let us know in advance if a translator will be attending.

If you complete the course and are successful in both the theory and practical sessions, you will receive an IPAF PAL Certificate and Photo card. Your certification is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

Qualifications needed

No formal qualifications or experience are necessary to complete the course, but a basic understanding of working at height issues would be beneficial. A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
